I don’t know how it is for you but every since I was a little girl, my family and I have the tradition of getting REALLY dressed up on Christmas and New Years Eve, you know, to receive the year as our best self! :). I have this thing about planning my looks way in advance -as usual- and this time is no different. Although I have a few options on what I want to wear on both occasions and I haven’t narrow it down yet, so if you are on the same boat, I put together 7 great ideas to give you some inspiration on what to wear and look like a million bucks!

“A BEADED DRESS”
This is an amazing option when you want to go all glam on your NEW YEARS EVE look. I have this beaded slip dress which I haven’t worn before, so it might be a good idea to get it out for a worthy party and what best than New Years Eve!
“A TUXEDO DRESS”
Probably one of my favourite options to wear on either Christmas or NYE! HaS the right amount of that boyish vibe I like, but at the same time it’s sexy AF am I right?
“A COLORFUL KNIT DRESS”
This one is a great option to wear on Christmas Eve, as it’s still dressy but not as glam as beads and tuxedos are. I LOVE the colour of this Levander dress and I am considering wearing this on Christmas day, while spending it with my boyfriends family this year.
“A SEE-THOUGHT BLOUSE”
This is probably a lot more risky and perhaps not ideal for Christmas, but hey, who said we cant be sexy on NEW YEARS EVE right?
“A LITTLE BLACK VELVET DRESS”
Safe bet ALWAYS, but still super chic. I have this velvet dress from the Balmain for H&M collection hanging in my closet and waiting for the right time to be worn. Will this be the year? Let’s see!
“A SEQUIN TOP”
Sequins baby!!!, you cant EVER go wrong with sequins on New Years Eve, seriously. I wore this top during Christmas three years ago and since I am not the one to shy away from repeating looks, I might give it a try again. This top is sadly starting to fall apart but I will wear it until it resists!
“A KNITWEAR DRESS”
Another safe bet, yet another chic AF option. Zara has a bunch of these body con knitted dresses and they are seriously perfect for the occasion.
